FAQ: CE Credits
Do I receive a completion certificate for each course?
Yes, a personalized completion certificate is made available for all BCDA Practice Series courses in all learning modalities.
How do I access my completion certificate?
Login to the CE Portal and click on "My Courses" under the "My Account" tab. For courses you have completed, click on the "Certificate" button to print your certificate.
Learners are asked to complete a short course survey in order to receive the completion certificate. For BCDA Practice Series live online or in-person courses, completion certificates are made available online upon confirmation of your attendance by the administrator.
Do I claim CE credits for a sponsored course?
Sponsored speakers will provide confirmation of CE credit as applicable. Learners are responsible to confirm CE eligibility when registering for sponsored courses.
How do I submit my CE hours?
Learners are responsible for submitting their CE credits to their respective regulatory bodies. Course completion certificates list learning objectives, course length and eligible CE credits.
Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) members
What CE@DLC Program courses are eligible for AGD PACE CE credits?
The BCDA is approved as a national AGD PACE provider. This approval only applies to courses promoted under the BCDA Practice Series or BCDA Practice Management Series brands. Look for the AGD PACE logo on eligible courses on the Portal.
Sponsored courses hosted at the BCDA Learning Centre (DLC) are not included under the BCDA provider approval.
Will course completion codes be provided on eligible courses?
Yes, a course completion code, e.g. ABC1500, will be provided for AGD PACE eligible courses in any learning modality.
Will BCDA submit CE credits for AGD members to the AGD office?
Yes, BCDA will submit CE credits to the AGD within the 30 day time frame as outlined in the AGD PACE guidelines.
