April is Oral Health Month! To celebrate Oral Health Month BCDA annually runs a brushing contest to encourage Kindergarten to Grade 3 students to brush their teeth morning and night. Each year, parents, caregivers, and teachers can challenge children to make dental care part of their routine by brushing twice daily for a full month and tracking their progress on the printable calendar.

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Brush2Win contest! Corpus Christi Parish Preschool, ḰELSET Elementary, McLeod Road Traditional Elementary, and Dr. R. E. McKechnie Elementary School each won a $1,000 cash prize.
Early Bird draw winners Colwood Elementary and Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith Elementary School each received a $500 cash prize.
Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Brush2Win contest: École Rose-des-Vents, Cache Creek Elementary, Cataline Elementary, and Campbell River Christian School. Each school won a $1,000 cash prize!
Campbell River Christian School and Davie Jones Elementary were the winners of the Early Bird contest. A special congratulations to Campbell River Christian School, whose entry was drawn twice—once in the Early Bird draw and again in the main draw—earning a total of $1,500!
Congratulations to the schools that were randomly drawn from the entries received in the 2024 Brush2Win contest! Four schools received a $1,000 cheque, and the two Early Bird draw winners received a $500 cheque.
