The BC Dental Hygienists’ Association (BCDHA) and BC Dental Association (BCDA) have joined forces to co-produce a new series of short, social media-friendly videos. The videos aim to help improve the daily oral health of seniors living in assisted and independent settings by de-mystifying and giving confidence to family members in helping their loved ones with daily tasks such as brushing, flossing, and using interdental tools.
Assisting with the daily oral care of your loved ones is not as hard as it might seem; families are encouraged to reach out to their oral care team for further guidance and friendly assistance, but first check out these short, informative and fun videos below! In these videos, follow along with Dental Hygiene Professional, Leah, as she guides Talia and her Grandma through some easy, informative tips on maintaining good oral health! Be sure to share on social media, and tag with #SeniorsOralCareBC to help spread the word!
This project is produced with the generous support of the BC Ministry of Health.
